چکیده
Abstract Repas Lama Dam in Bentong Pahang has been experiencing pollution by Non-Point Sources (NPS) that can be found upstream of the Sungai Repas, being so evident discoloration water is observable at location. The area littered with mines active and inactive, many inactive improperly shut down. When there are mining activities, some major waste or tailings produced as by-products process which drastically increases amount a body runs through these areas will contain. Water Quality Parameters location, whether biological, chemical, physical, give lot insight into level body. Through collecting parameters running them quality model, it information on present state river help attaining predictions health river. QUAL2K model was used to analyse Old further make after 10 years. After modelling process, heavy metals were analyzed using Malaysian National Standard (NWQS), also assisted classifying based off individual its overall Index score. for this study Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical (COD), Dissolved (DO), Ammonia Nitrogen, pH Total Suspended Solids (TSS). In terms metal analysis, looked Arsenic (As), Lead (Pb), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Tin (Sn) Aluminium (Al). data collected from studies conducted site 2021 given Department Statistics Malaysia.

متن کاملHazards of heavy metal contamination.
The main threats to human health from heavy metals are associated with exposure to lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic. These metals have been extensively studied and their effects on human health regularly reviewed by international bodies such as the WHO. Heavy metals have been used by humans for thousands of years. Although several adverse health effects of heavy metals have been known for a l...

Background: Qual2k is a stream water quality model and was used to evaluate the water quality of the Kine-Vars River and assess the response of the river to nutrient management strategies. Methods: For that purpose, 7 sample stations were selected and surface water samples were collected in the winter and summer of 2012 and were analyzed for temperature, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen dem...
متن کاملDetermination and Simulation of Water Quality in Karkheh River Using QUAL2K Model
Karkheh river is located in southwestern of Iran. Industrial and agricultural activities around the river contaminate it through its path. Water quality modeling from upstream of Shoosh city to downstream was simulated by QUAL2K model. In this study, we investigated how best to manage the quality of Karkheh river to be done. Nine parameters including BOD, COD, DO, PH, turbidity, nitrate, phosph...
